  • What does "Building Better Kids. For a Better Tomorrow" mean?
We believe that todays' children face challenges that previous generations of kids never had to navigate. Social media, video games, internet, cable TV and a constant deluge of information has created a sensory overload and endless distractions.
  • Why is martial arts such a big part of the Warrior Kid brand?
Just like the Way of the Warrior Kid books, martial arts teach children the value of good character and when Jocko Willink created the series he wanted jiu-jitsu to play a positive role for the main character, Marc—just as it has for Jocko's four children. Martial arts—like jiu-jitsu, karate, akido, kung-fu—teach children patience, discipline, focus and self-reliance. Each one has a rich history with techniques that take time and practice to master. Students develop problem solving skills and humility—always taught to respect their opponents and showcase sportsmanship, whether they win or lose. They gain more experience tackling challenges. Their self confidence grows. They learn how far hard work and a calm attitude can get them. And they apply that to everything they do. At school. at home. In life.

  • Why "Warrior" Kid?
Way of the Warrior Kid isn’t about violence. It isn't about war. It’s about the warrior spirit. Warriors are individuals that fearlessly face challenges and try their very best when faced with adversity. Warriors have the discipline to push themselves to achieve the goals that make their lives and the lives of those around them better. Many kids don’t push themselves. Warrior Kids do. May kids don’t work to improve themselves. A Warrior Kid does. Many kids don’t want to face their problems. A Warrior Kid sees problems as opportunities to learn and grow.
