A Hands On Team

Invested in Helping Kids Learn to be their Best

The Warrior Kid Education team is committed to helping educators and students utilize the Warrior Kid books in their classrooms—providing books, posters and curriculum, as needed in order to help kids become their very best. We are committed to helping you build better kids for a better tomorrow...

Jocko Willink

Jocko is a retired Navy SEAL, multiple New York Time's best selling author, host of the top-100 Jocko Podcast, leadership authority, and the author behind the best-selling Way of the Warrior Kid book series.

During his time in the SEALS, Jocko learned first-hand the importance of accountability, character, and leadership when it came to overcoming the challenges he and his teammates faced. As he and his wife raised their 4 children they stressed that same importance to their kids—building their confidence, nurturing their curiosity and inspiring them to be their best. Soon, Jocko created Way of the Warrior Kid to empower kids everywhere and give them the tools to overcome their challenges. From dealing with bullies, applying themselves in school, eating healthy, having the courage to face their fears and more, the Way of the Warrior Kid series has helped hundreds of thousands of kids be smarter, stronger and better.

Jon Bozak

Jon is the illustrator of the Way of the Warrior Kid series and he runs Jocko Publishing. In fact, he's heavily involved in a number of efforts across the both Jocko's and the Warrior Kid brand. Fun fact: Jon and Jocko have been friends since they were teens, while Jocko joined the Navy SEALS, Jon went to college for fine art before pursuing a career in New York City’s advertising world. When Jocko decided to create Way of the Warrior Kid, he had one person in mind to do the drawings—Jon Bozak!

Jon has played an integral role in developing the Warrior Kid Education program and is currently hard at work with the team to build out The Warrior Kid Online Academy, a digital resource featuring courses, how-tos, games, missions, and more that help teachers, parents and kids apply the Warrior Kid tenets in their schools, homes and lives.

Between 2013 and 2014, he cycled nearly 5,200 miles across the United States in order to raise awareness for wounded veterans.[3] He also won a bronze medal with Oksana Masters in mixed double sculls (rowing) at the 2012 Summer Paralympics.
